Drive past India Gate (War Memorial), the President's House which was once the Viceroy's Palace, the Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight @ hotel.
In the morning, transfer to the railway station to board a train for Haridwar. The city of Hardiwar, located at the foothills of the Himalayas, represents the point where the Holy Ganga reaches the plains.
